From full resort buyout weddings to meaningful social events in our private event garden, the Sands Hotel is the perfect backdrop for highly curated and bespoke affairs. The hotel’s on-site restaurant the Pink Cabana, will ensure any of your culinary requests are customized to your exact needs.
Weddings may be hosted in consideration of a full resort guest room buyout allowing for full use of our event spaces on the night of your event. The Olive Grove is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, while dinner is served poolside. Guests are surrounded by Moroccan daybeds and pink bolstered pillows allowing for a luxurious desert setting. After hours and dancing continue late into the evening with Pink Cabana’s unique assortment of libations until 2 a.m.

THE OLIVE GROVE
The Olive Grove is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies up to 190 guests. Framed by ancient Olive trees, the Olive Grove has a dramatic desert rose colored backdrop.
PINK CABANA RESTAURANT
Pink Cabana Restaurant gives extra personality to any event. Our tribute to the Tennis & Racquet Clubs popular in the 1950s – it’s floor to ceiling glass doors open up to our patio and garden featuring fire pits & beautiful desert landscaping and lighting – bringing it into this century. Perfect for Wedding Cocktail Hours, Wedding Late Night Dancing, Rehearsal or other Celebratory Dinners. Max capacity seated is 80 guests, cocktail format 190 guests. We require a full hotel buyout to book the entire restaurant. Events up to 42 guests may be accommodated without such requirement using one side of the restaurant.
POOLSIDE DINING
Poolside, black and white striped cabanas surrounded by Moroccan daybeds set the stage for a chic desert experience. Dinner for up to 190 guests may be accommodated in this area with a full hotel buyout.

Do you need a full hotel guestroom buyout to host an event at the Sands Hotel & Spa?
A full hotel guestroom buyout is needed so that we can activate in all available spaces and close our restaurant for your Catering needs. A guestroom buyout does not include a restaurant buyout but can be priced out separately for any hosted events you are desiring to host on property. There are some months or weekends when we do not require all 46 rooms to be contracted for 2 nights. On these weekends we can offer a reduced block and would not sell the remaining rooms to the public. Weekday weddings offer the smallest guestroom block opportunities available. Please inquire if you are a smaller or intimate wedding looking to host throughout the property but needing a smaller guestroom commitment.
How many guestrooms do you have?
We have 46 guestrooms. Of those 46 guestrooms, we have (5) double queen bedded rooms, (2) junior suites and (1) bi-level luxury suite.
Where is Indian Wells located?
Indian Wells is one of 9 cities located in the Coachella Valley and is in the center of the valley. It is considered the most affluent of the cities and offers premium shopping on El Paseo, access to great outdoor hiking trails, the Living Desert Zoo, great golf, BNP Paribas Tennis and quick access to the Coachella Music Festival Fair Grounds. It is 16 miles from downtown Palm Springs.
What is a typical Wedding budget for your venue?
Most clients have a $1,000 budget per person for the events throughout the weekend. Smaller budgets can work on weekends in low seasons (January, June) and also on weekdays if the client is flexible.
What is the typical price range per person?
Our per person Wedding Packages range from $295 to $345 per person before taxes and fees.
Do you offer on-site coordination?
We do offer on-site coordination on behalf of the Venue however we do require a Professional Wedding or Event Planner to host a large scale event with us.
Do you offer on-site Catering?
Due to licensing, we are the only Catering service permitted to serve food & beverage inside property walls.
Do you allow outside Caterers?
We are unable to work with outside Caterers due to licensing, food safety and limited kitchen / back of house space.

We offer Corporate Brand Activations, Company Retreats, Welcome Receptions, Bridal Brunches, Baby Showers, Holiday Parties & Company Dinners.
